What's the weather like in March at Mt.Siguniang

As the Eastward Apls, Mt.Siguniang is also named Four Sisters Moutain or Four Grils mountain. It is the paradise for outdoor lovers and easy accessible since it's only 4 hours driving from Chengd. Elevation of Mt.Siguniang town is of 3200m. Mt.Siguniang consists of 4 mountain peaks and 3 valleys .

Weather in March

Although Mt.Siguniang is only 4 hours driving from Chengdu but the weather are much different.  March is already the spring time for Chengdu but it's is comparabley Winter time for Mt.Siguniang and tends to snow a lot but it provide a chance for who would love to come there for snow.

Lowest temperature 5 below ℃

Highest temperature : 10 ℃

It would be ideal season to climb Dafeng 5025m and Erfeng 5355. It's able to see the peaks covered in snow but most of time, it still quite dry, the chance of see sunrise view with pink cloud sea is very big. So that's one of the best season for Mountain climbers.  At slightly lower places of the mountain, the grasslands are turning into green while top of the mountain is with barren land view.  The scenary in Changping Valley and Shuangqiao valley with have some green colors and brown colors which provide a contrast colors with cystal blue sky and lakes. So it is quite beautiful to come to Mt.Siguniang in March.

For photography lovers, the best season for Mt.Siguniang is actuallly from October to March.  April to June is the spring time for Mt.Siguniang. While July to September are the moonsoon season and it tends rains quite a lot compared to dry seasons. 

Clothing tips for travelling to Mt.Sigunaing in March.

Whenever travel to Mt.Siguniang, need to prepare staffs to avoid sunburnt so, please do remember to bring Suncream , Sunglasses, Sunhat.

Dress like early wintern time

Thermal underwear, sweater, gloves, down jacket. sweatshirts, warm hat, scarfs are all necessary.

It is quite dry as well in March, so need to drink more water and use lib balms

What's suggest travel route in March ? 

You can plan a ligthseeing tours to include Changping Valley and Suangqiao valley 4 days and 3nights would be enough.  You can rent a car and driver, if there is a local guide to guide you that would be ideal or you can do a self guided tour by taking bus from Chengdu Chadiazi bus station which is only 4 hours driving. Day 02 One day acclimatization in Mt.Siguniang, whether you can do some sightseeing in Shuangqiao valley or hike in Changping Vallley or simply spend a day rest and wander arong siguniang town

Day 03 join in China adventure and hike to Base Camp of Dafeng or Erfengr

Day 04  Hike to summit and then hike down to base camp and return to Siguniang town

Day 05 Transfer back from Siguniang town back to Chengdu

Day 01 Chengdu- Siguniang town

Day 02  Hike to base camp of Dafeng or Erfeng

Day 03 Hike to Summit and return to Siguniang town and drive back to Chengdu. Reach Chengdu about 8 or 9 pm
