DO NOT Waste Your Panda Visit in the Afternoon

Last updated:Nov 16,2022; By: Cindy; Hits: 69

Giant panda is the national treasure of China. Many travelers (domestic and abroad) have it on their must-see list if going to Sichuan. Due to its irresistibly cute appearance, giant panda has a world-wide reputation. When you make all your plans to visit the pandas with enthusiasm, the last thing you want would be no sign of them at all after reaching the panda center. Our experience indicates that the best time to see the pandas would be in the morning.

Pandas Like Coolness

Giant pandas' most ideal living temperature is below 20℃. When the weather is cool, pandas are more inclinded to do outdoor activities and spend much time outside. If the temperature skyrockets to 26℃, the whole panda breeding center may be an empty playground because these cute animals would prefer to stay in their rooms to relieve the summer-heat.

Daily Schedule of Pandas

Bamboo, of low energy, is the main food for pandas. In order to avoid excessive energy expenditure, pandas spend 50% of their time eating, 48% sleeping and 2% playing. Much of their time in the afternoon is used napping and dreaming.
