Mt.Konka Holy Pilgrimage 6 Days Journey

Day 1 Arrive Chengdu, meet in reserved hotel in Chengdu

Meet in our reserved hotel in Chengdu. We shall have a brief meeting in hotel around 8-9pm for the next day wonderful trek. If you arrive earlier, you can wander around Chengdu including China Alley, Tianfu Square, Taikooli.

Day 2 Chengdu-Kangding-Yuzixi-Xinduqiao(BD) 450km, about 10hrs driving

After breakfast, we will drive to Kangding through highway and  appreciate the countryside view of western Sichuan. After crossing New Erlandshan Tunnel and Daduhe Bridge, we finally reach Kanding(2900m). A beautiful city reputed for Paoma mountain, here we will have lunch.

After lunch break, we will purchase necessary  stuff needed for the trek (you can also pack your lunch for the next few days here) then we drive further to Xinduqiao via Zheduo pass(4298m) which is referred to be the paradize for photography lovers.

Notice: If we reach Xinduqiao quite early, you can make you own way to Yuzixia which is another site that perfect for photography for view of Gongga mountain and Yala mountain. The car transfer cost from Kangding to Yuzixi: CNY 80/Person is not included.

Meals Plan:breakfast, dinner

Elevation: Xinduqiao 3300m, Yuzixi 4000m

Driving distance:450km, around 10 hours

Day 3 Xinduqiao-Lengatso-Yulongxi village (BD) 159km, about 6hrs driving

After breakfast, we will drive to Quanhuatan , and take local van to the foot of Lengatso. Here we have to trek up to Lengatso lake to have every angle of the best view of Gongga mountain. Then we will be trek down and take local van to Yulongxi village for overnight stay

Trek  Distance: 4 km about 5.5hrs

driving distance:159km, about 6hrs

Elevation :Yulongxi:3800m, Lengatso :4300m

Notice: It will be guesthouse for the accommodation which is quite basic

Day 4 Yulongxi village-Zimei pass-Gongga monastery-Yulongxi village(BD)

After breakfast, we will drive 20km to Zimei pass for sunrise view and photo Gongga Mountain which you may have the chance for starry sky, sunrise, cloud sea  etc. Then we will drive 40km to Xiazimei village and put down our luggage. Trek 3.5km to Gongga monastery where you can have a close view of Gongga mountain and then trek back to Zimei village. and drive back to Yulongxi village for overnight stay

Trek  Distance: 7km, around 3 hours

Driving distance: 165km, 4.5hrs

Elevation:Yulongxi:3800m,Zimei pass:4500m, Xiazimei village:3300m, Gongga monastery:3750m

Notice: During holiday season, it will be multi-bed rooms

Day 5 Yulongxi village-Quanhuatan-Xinduqiao-Kangding/Ya'an(BD)

In the morning, we will trek about 30 minutes to Quanhuatan for sightseeing and taking pictures. And the back to Yulongxi village for pack our luggage to drive back to Kangding or Ya'an for overnight stay

Trek  Distance: 2km, around 2 hours

driving distance:365km, about 8 hrs

Elevation : Yulongxi:3800m,  Kangding:2700m

Day 6 Kangding/Ya'an- Chengdu(B) 335km about 5hrs driving

Drive back to Chengdu, if time and condition allows, we will make a stop at Pingle ancient town (not a must included stop of the program)

Driving Distance:335km, about 5hrs

Notice: We will reach Chengdu around 4pm, so please book your flight home accordingly.
