In Inner Mongolia, flowers blossom and flocks scatter around the grassland in spring; green grasses and trees wave with the wind in summer; the whole city is dyed with the color of gold in autumn; everywhere is encapsulated by snow in winter. Since Inner Mongolia extends a wide span of land from the west to the east, the time for appreciating the various scenery in different areas is not the same.

Winter
In winter, the prairie is covered by snow. Appreciating the dancing snowflakes and the vast snowfield is the best at this time. You can truly understand what the poem “A hundred leagues locked in ice. A thousand leagues of whirling snow.” means. The average temperature in winter is -23°C to -10°C.
Dressing: The temperature is exceedingly low and. Down jacket, thick sweater, thick stockings and boots are necessary. You can just wear a thin sweater or a thick long-sleeve T-shirt when indoor as the heating is provided, but once you go out, please prepare scarves, gloves, etc.
Recommended Travel: From late December to the end of February, Manzhouli Ice and Snow Festival is in full swing. Giant blocks of ice carved in shapes of animals, castles, buildings and picture panels are an impressive sight.
