On December 31, "the 11th Siguniang Mountain International Ice Climbing Festival and alpine ice and snow Music Festival" opened in Siguniang mountain.Sponsored by Siguniang mountain scenic spot Administration Bureau, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture culture, sports and Tourism Bureau, Sichuan Tourism College, Siguniang Mountain Tourism Branch of ABA Dajiu tourism group, and undertaken by Sichuan leisure sports scientific management society, Sichuan Sichuan tourism 80 Culture Development Co., Ltd. and Chengdu every Yushi Culture Communication Co., Ltd, It is an annual grand gathering of ice climbers at home and abroad. The event was held in shuangqiao valley, Siguniang mountain scenic spot. There are more than 10 snow mountains with an altitude of more than 5000 meters and more than 100 natural ice walls in shuangqiao valley.

The Siguniang Mountain International Ice Climbing Festival and alpine ice and snow Music Festival , as one of the super events of ice climbing challenge and ice climbing experience, has attracted many ice climbers and outdoor sports lovers at home and abroad to gather in Siguniang mountain scenic spot. This ice climbing festival will carry out ice climbing competition, free climbing experience, public welfare training of ice climbing skills, alpine Music Festival, happy orienteering and other activities. The event perfectly integrated ice and snow sports and music elements for the first time, and actively promoted the diversified development of ice and snow sports in Siguniang mountain scenic spot.

The relevant person in charge of Siguniang mountain authority said that in recent years, Siguniang mountain scenic spot has continuously expanded its external popularity based on resource endowment and various events and activities in order to build Siguniang mountain into an international mountain outdoor sports tourism destination. Through the combination of culture, tourism and sports, the international Siguniang mountain ice climbing Festival, Siguniang Mountain International mountaineering Festival, super cross-country running around Siguniang mountain and other events were successfully held.

The Siguniang Mountain International Ice Climbing Festival and alpine ice and snow music festival aims to provide a platform for friends who love life, nature and ice and snow world to experience, learn and communicate. At the opening ceremony of Siguniang Mountain International Ice Climbing Festival and alpine ice and snow Music Festival, warm winter public welfare activities were also integrated. Siguniang Mountain has been turnning a hot destination for those adventure lovers and it is also referred to be the east apls mountain.
