【News】Tourist Sites in China are Reopening!

The situation of nCoV  is getting better and better! The number of newly confirmed cases in 30 provinces (except Hubei Province) and cities across the country has been dropping for 16 days!!

  


News:

With the outbreak under control, some scenic spots in China have begun to open in an orderly way. At the same time, more than 1,000 scenic spots across the country offer free entrance ticket policy for medical workers.


Hangzhou West Lake

On Feb. 19, Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Spot opened some areas in an orderly manner to the public.

The open air parts will be opened according to normal operating hours.

All kinds of museums (including former residences, pavilions and buildings in the scenic spot) and other places will remain closed until further notice.

Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Spot requires all visitors to wear masks to when visiting.

All visitors need to show the Hangzhou Health Certificate as well as check temperature before entering.

At the same time, the scenic spot carries out real-time monitoring on the number of tourists. The daily reception shall not exceed 50% of the carrying capacity.

Number of group tourists shall not exceed 30 and travelers will have different entry time to avoid crowds gathering.


Lijiang Ancient Town

On Feb. 20, the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Lijiang announced that "tourism industry in Lijiang resume to opertation in a full scale".

Lijiang Bureau of Culture and Tourism decided to open the  city to low-risk areas of epidemic in China since the announcement was issued, as there is no new suspicious and confirmed cases for the virus for the last 18 days.


Others Places

Other opening sites include the West Lake in Hangzhou, Confucius Temple, Xuanwu Lake, Mount Qianfo, Shaoxing Keyan scenic spot, Lu xun's Hometown, Zhejiang Lishui Ancient Weir Scenic Spot, Yunhe Terrace, Longhu Mountain, Yingtan, Jiangxi, Zhouzhuang.

Suzhou: more than 20 famous scenic spots such as Shenxianju Holiday Resort in Taizhou, Zhejiang, have opened before Feb. 20.

In addition, more scenic spots will open in early march, including Yunshang Grassland in Huzhou, Mt. Anji Lingxi and Daming mountain, which are expected to open on March 1.

  


Sites in Sichuan

On Feb. 21, Sichuan Tourist Attraction Management Association has released the guidance to all the sites in Sichuan on how to reopen the attractioins during the epidemic including ticket policy, prevention measures, requirements and so on.

We can tell that Sichuan's tourism will be back on track quite soon.

  


Free Entrance Ticket for medical workers

With the release of free welfare for medical workers in various scenic spots across the country, the number has exceeded 1,000.

By Feb. 20, there were at least 1,067 scenic spots offering free admission for medical staff, covering 30 provinces and 195 cities, among which 479 were 5A and 4A scenic spots, accounting for more than 40 percent.
