6 Days Guizhou Ethnic Culture Experience Tour

Day 1 Arrive Guiyang. Transfer from Guiyang to Kaili

Fly to Guiyang on your own arrangement, upon arrival, our guide and driver will meet you in the airport with warmest greetings.  Then we will drive to Kaili, if time permits, shall we shall visit Qiandongzhou museum

 Kaili, which is the capital city of Guizhou's southeast autonomous prefecture of Miao and Dong people, offer you the greatest way to some of the most fascinating minority villages you're like to encounter in China. It is called as Qiandongnan as well in Chinese as it is located in southeast part of Guizhou. Those Miao people who moved to America and Europe are known as Hmong people. Entire region hosts more than 100 festivals every year, with the greatest concentration around February, March, October and November.

Day 2 Kaili

After breakfast, we shall drive to Langde Miao Village  to attend the welcome ceremony and Miao dancing & singing performance, then we will experience catching fish in the fields.   In the afternoon, we can have some little trek in the near Lande Miao Village to appreciate the beautiful arctechure style of the Miao and the beautiful country side views.

As the most famous ethnic villages among others, Langde Miao village（Chinese name: 郎德上寨）, which is said to have two parts: Langde Shang Village and Langde Xia Village(upper and low in English), is known as the Miao's Ethnic Village Museum with different Miao's style houses. It is recommended for its silver ornaments, embroidered costumes and local lusheng music and dance performance. The villagers in Langde wear long skirts, hence they are 'Long-skirt Miao'.

Day 3 Kaili -Zhaoxing

Today, we will head towards Zhaoxing, on the way to visit reputed Dongzhai minority area: Zengchong Dong Village , Yintan Dongzhai and Huanggang Dong Village.

Zhaoxing is not only the hometown of the drum tower, and it is the hometown of song and dance. There is Dong song team and Dong’s play troupe in Dong village. During festivals or guests coming, Dong people gathered in the drum tower, singing ground to held national cultural activities. Song is particularly famous for its various songs, like cicada song, stepping song hall, road song, Qin brackets song, toasting song, love songs, folk songs, river song, narrative songs, children's songs, and so on. Every year the Mid-Autumn festival will hold a Lusheng event, which is very busy, very spectacular. During the first lunar month (usually February),the early festival in Kaili (east of Guiyang) celebrates local culture with acts of bullfighting, horse racing, pipe playing and comedy works.

Day 4  Zhaoxing

People in Zhaoxing are so good in singing and dancing since the ancient times, everybody there is fond of singing whenever during labor or leisure time. Dong Play is the necessary event for Zhaoxing tourism. Usually the performance venue is at the drum tower of stage. In performance Dong actor dress dong costumes, perform song and dance in the way of talking and singing in Dong words.

After breakfast, we will visit Dong Village and then we will have slight trek of 3.4km on rice fields from Tang’an to Zhaoxing Dong Village. Afternoon  sightseeing of Zhaoxing

Day 5 Zhaoxing- Jiabang- Rongjiang

Sightseeing of Jiabang Terrace Fields, one of the largest Terrace in China, around 10 thousands mu and will A large scale of  wooden house are located in the center of  the fields. Very beautiful whole year around.

Day 6 Rongjiang departure

It is the day we say fare well. If you want to go Guangzhou or Guilin, we will drop you to Rongjiang railway station where you can take bullet train.  Or we will drop you to Guiyang airport to see you off in the airport
