Qizang Valley contains some of the best lakes in Songpan. While Qizang Valley is the name for the region at large, each valley within has its own name and distinct features such as lakes and mountain peaks. It is home to well known geological features such as Long Lake, Hongxing Lake, and Hongxing Mountain.
Upon arrival, airport picking up and transfer to hotel, the rest of time is on your own arrangement.
In the morning, we will pick you up from hotel and then drive to Chuanzhusi. Enjoy the stunning scenery along the road, such as turquoise lakes and big gorges. Upon arrival, check in the hotel in Chuanzhusi. Have a good rest for tomorrow’s hiking
Overnight at Chuanzhusi 3200m
After breakfast, we will drive to the Kaka Valley. Today we will trek about 8 hours for 16km from Kaka Valley to Changhai Lake. The elevation is from 2500m to 3400m. It is relatively easy with good path and gentle slope. Then we will arrive at the Changhai Campsite at about 4 p.m. Take good rest and stay overnight.

Trekking distance: 16km, 8hrs
Overnight at Changhai lake Camp: 3700m
After breakfast, we will start to trek over Changhai Pass (4200m), where we can appreciate the fabulour landscape. Due to the high elevation, it's going to be tough. Then go downhills to Yuhaizi Campsite for overnight.
Trekking Distance:14km, 7hrs trekking
Overnight at Yuhaizi Camp 3300m
Today we will trek for 8km to Hongxing Pass at the elevation of 4000m. Then climb over the Hongxing Pass to appreciate the farbulous landscape of Hongxing Lake. Trek towards to Hongxing Lake to enjoy the amazing wild scenery. After that, backtrack to Campsite.

Overnight at Hongxing lake 3600m
Today is going to be tough. We will trek along Tazi Vally all the way up. Arrive at the Feicui Pass at about noon. Trek across the pass and we will see the marvellour Feicui Lake. Continue to trek to the primary forest, where all the trees you see are above 100 years old. After through the forest, we reach the Tazi Valley Campsite.
Trekking distance:16km, 8hrs trekking
Overnight at Tazi Valley Camp: 3400m
After breakfast, we will pack up and start our last trekking. After crossing the pass (3700m), we are able to see Chuanzhusi from above. When reaching the Changgou Village, we will drive back to Chuanzhusi and go all the way back to Chengdu. If we come across bad weather which makes the route unable to drive out the Changgou Village, we can help to arrange the 4WD (cost on your own). We will probably reach the hotel at aboutt 20:00 depending on the road condition, so please book the train/fllight on the next day. Trekking distance :12km, 4hrs
Driving Distance : 340km, 7hrs
