This 7 days trekking journey to Yuben village will take you to the last pureland on earth. Hikers will stay in beautiful and mythic Yubeng. Trekking in and around this mountain range allows hikers the opportunity not only to experience nature but also to get a glimpse of fairy land. Join in this epic Yubeng Village 7 days trekking tour to experience the farirland and Tibet culture.
Arrive in Lijiang and check in the hotel reserved for you. The rest time is for you to hang around or chill in the hotel room. This is the first day in highland so please rest early to get ready!

After breakfast, we will start to drive towards Shangrila. After about 1.5 hrs' drive, we will reach the 1st Bend of Yangtze River View Platform. Later we will drive along G214 and have a far view of the Haba Mountain and Yulong Snow Mountain (Jade Dragon Snow Mountain). At about 13:30 pm, we will reach the Jinsha River Moon Bay, which is the boundary between Sichuan and Yunnan. This is different from the First Bend of Yangtze River. The bend in Shigu Town changes the flow direction of the Yangtze River but in Benzilan, the Moon Bay is just a grand bend between the mountains with an impressive scenery. Afterwards, we will keep driving to Feilaisi. Generally speaking, we will reach Feilaisi at abbout 17:00 pm, which is the best time to enjoy the sunset of Meili Snow Mountain from the Sightseeing Platform, where you can see the 13 white pagodas meaning of the 13 peaks of Meili Snow Mountain over 6,000 meters (19,685 feet) above sea level, known as the "Prince's 13 peaks".

Get up in time to see the sunrise over the Meili Snow Mountains. Drive along the Lancang River Grand Canyon for another 1.5 hrs to Xidang Village where you will begin your hike to Yubeng Village. Today’s hike will be strenuous – we will climb from 2500m to over 3700m at the Nanzong Pass – passing through beautiful, pristine alpine forest. (Total distance for the day: 17 km , 6 hours) Stay overnight at a guesthouse in Yubeng.
Note: If due to weather or road condition, we may choose to enter Yubeng via Ninong.

After breakfast, we will trek for about 2 hrs to cross the Nazongla Pass and after through a primary forest, we will reach the Xiaonong Base Camp built jointly by Chinese and Japanese Mountaineering Team. After lunch, we will continue to trek for about 1.5 hrs to reach the Ice Lake (3800m), which is located at the foot of the glacier. Trek down back to Yubeng Village in the late afternoon and enjoy the sunset of Kawagebo Peak.

If the weather is good, we'll wake up to a clear view of the Mt. Kawagebo glacier. After breakfast we will hike via Yubeng River to the Sacred Waterfall (7 km), from which Yubeng's name originated. Buddhists coming to this area on pilgrimmages circumambulate the waterfall 13 times with the belief that this act will set them free from all sins from this life. In the early afternoon we’ll walk back to Yubeng Village where we'll rest up for the long hike the next day.

In the morning, we will follow the Ninong Grand Canyon down to the Diqin for lunch. After another 1 hr, we will reach the Baima Snow Mountain Pass (4292m), where you will have a nice bird view. Driving all the way back to Shangrila.Tonight, we have a Tibetan dinner together to celebrate the success of this trekking trip! Let's enjoy the dance party!
Note: If we come across landslide, we will hike back via Xidang Village.

Today after breakfast, we will proceed to the famous Dukezong Ancient Town. The authentic Tibetan dwellings in Dukezong, gilded prayer halls and pagodas, and lanterns of various shapes lighting the way along narrow, winding lanes are permeated with the grace as well as the mystique of antiquity that enchants visitors the moment they set foot in it. Dukezong was a key stop on the Ancient Tea-horse Road and a focal point for Han-Tibetan exchanges. It is the largest and best-preserved Tibetan city among China 147 Tibetan counties. It is also site of the largest ancient Tibetan community. Later drive via Xiaozhongdian and all the way back to Lijiang. Tour ends.
