After you have breakfast in the hotel, we will start the trip to Chinese traditional culture. Hanfu is the traditional garment of Han ethnic in China. Different stages of development of Hanfu correspond to different Chinese Dynasty.
Hanfu has a big and complicated system. People wear different dresses on different occasions. Normally speaking, it’s divided into 3 catagories: Ceremonial Dress; Formal Dress; Informal Dress. You can choose your own Hanfu and start to write your own Chinese story here.
Ceremonial Dress: Hanfu is not just a piece of clothing. It has connotations of Li and cultural symbols. Representing courtesy, social etiquette, interpersonal skills, Hanfu plays a very important role in Chinese ancient society. Its always wore in worship, sacrifice, ancestor enshrining, wedding, coming-of-age ceremony and so on.
Formal Dress: Ancient Han people wear formal dress in occasions like meeting, salon, festivals and some family rituals.
Informal Dress: This kind of Hanfu is suitable for daily life and has a variety of forms and evolves quickly.

Wenshu Monastery: Wenshu Monastery is the best-preserved Buddhist Temple in Chengdu. It’s the home of the Buddhist Association of Sichuan Province. Cultural relics are the highlights of Wenshu Monastery. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, over 500 pieces of painting and calligraphy by celebrities have been stored here.
Kuanzhai Alley: The history of Kuanzhai Alley can be dated back to the Qing Dynasty. Consisting of Wide (Kuan) Alley, Narrow (Zhai) Alley and Well (Jing) Alley, it’s one of Chengdu’s historical and cultural reserves together with Daci Temple reserve and Wenshu Temple reserve.
Jinli: Jinli is an ancient pedestrian street in Chengdu. Located just next to Wuhou Temple, it’s a very beautiful place to visit even after dark as the area is illuminated by traditional Chinese lanterns which lend a romantic atmosphere to wooden buildings. Jinli’s theme is Three Kingdoms Culture and is particularly famous for its traditional Sichuan snacks.
