Songpan Horse Trekking 5 Days Tour

Day 1: Chengdu-Songpan

We will book a bus for you from Chengdu to Songpan, or we can also book you Chengdu Jiuzhaigou highspeed train ticket if preferred because Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou fast train is available now and some traina will stop at Songpan station. There are about 5 buses each day. The earliest one departs at 07:30 and the latest one is 13:30. After about 5 hours’ drive, we will reach Songpan. There are 6 trains Chengdu Jiuzhaigou bullet train running from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou station/Songpan station. From Songpan train station, it is only 20 minutes driving to Songpan town.

Upon arrival at Songpan bus station or Songpan train station, our local staff will pick you up and then go to hotel for check in. The rest time is for you to explore Songpan Ancient Town.

Notice: Private  car transfer between Chengdu to Songpan  is also available if requested.

Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou Huanglong station will stop at Songpan, bellowing is the train time table from Chengdu East station to Songpan train station

Day 2: Songpan-Erdaohai Lake Horse Trekking

Today, we will go to the Horse Company and then start the horse trekking tour. Today we will have around 4-5 hours horse trekking to Erdaohai Lake (36km from Songpan). You will lost yourselves in the beautiful lakes (Tuodao Lake, Swan Lake, Jadeite Lake, etc) and wonderful sceneries. Our local leader will prepare the food for you and we will camp overnight near the Erdaohai Lake.

Day 3: Erdaohai Lake-Jadeite Spring Horse Trekking

After breakfast, we will ride the horse and head for the Jadeite Spring. Today be prepared for the marvelous scenic spots including Rensen Lake, Flower Lake, Stone Forests and the Moon Lake. Riding horse on this route will be a lifetime experience for you. Eating lunch and dinner with our local leader and with horses by your side is definitely a special moment you want to capture. Tonight we will camp overnight near the Jadeite Spring.

Day 4: Jadeite Spring-Songpan Horse Trekking

Today we will ride the horse back to Songpan and you will not be disappointed. We will visit Mallard Lake, pass through Sanlian Town and the Muni Town. After we reach the Horse Camping site, our local leader will take you back to your hotel and take rest. The rest time is for you to relax and enjoy Songpan Town on your own.

Day 5: Songpan-Chengdu

After breakfast, you will head to the bus station to drive back to Chengdu or take Chengdu Jiuzhaigou bullet train from Songpan train station to Chengdu East train station.
