Giant Panda Trailing 2 Days Tour

Day 1: Chengdu-Wolong

After the breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and go to Wolong Panda Research Center. Due to the biological clock of our cute pandas, we will be departing at around 06:00 am so that we have enough time to do the volunteer job in the afternoon.

After we arrive the Panda Research Center, we need to get gears and register for panda care. Then, led by professional panda keeper, you will enter the panda rooms and clean the leftovers of bamboo, his room and remove panda dung. Afterward, we will learn how to make panda’s daily food steamed corn bread.

Day 2: Wolong-Chengdu

Wolong Panda Research Center, covering 200,000 hectares, is a protected area for over 4,000 different species including the famous Giant Panda. Today we will follow professional park staff going deep into the reserve to see if we can find any panda in the wild. With any luck, we will have the possibility to watch how the panda living their life in nature. Meanwhile, the staff will introduce the knowledge of panda care and panda behavior and his natural habitat.

Later, we will head back from Wolong to Chengdu.
